Introductory R Workshop (2 / 5)

R is both an open source programming language and a software environment. It is a leading tool within academia and business. R is used for statistics, machine learning, artificial intelligence and many other applications. R can analyze large amounts of data which normal office tools cannot handle.
R can be used for:
- Data analysis and manipulation
- Visualization and graphs
- Harvest data from the internet, for example Twitter or Facebook
- Text mining methods for extracting information from large amounts of text
- Use advanced digital services from Google, Amazon, IBM, etc
- And much much more
Through these five introductory workshop sessions you will acquire the basic skills in understanding and using R, providing an initial platform to use the many functionalities of R. The workshop-series has no prerequisites and will cover everything from installation, R fundamentals and structure to basic programming and visualization tools. Just bring your PC or Mac and you will be ready to go.

CALDISS has an Udemy team plan supporting 15 users, so CALDISS will provide access to the course for the first 15 signing up for this workshop-series. Remaining attendees will have to acquire the course themselves (€28.99, ~215 DKK).
