Network analysis has seen more widespread use in the fields of social sciences and humanities over the last decade. At this webinar, members of TANT-Lab will provide an overview of the field.

Network analysis (NA) is a set of techniques to depict relations among actors and to analyze the social structures emerging from these relations. This webinar consists of two short presentations giving an overview of network analysis as a field.
Mathieu is a member of TANT-Lab at AAU and develops digital tools for the social sciences. He is the co-creator of the popular network analysis tool Gephi as well as main developer for the web crawler Hyphe.
His current research and just finished PhD thesis focus on visual network analysis and exploration, issue mapping, and reflecting on methodological aspects. His presentation at this webinar will provide an overview of network analysis as a field.
Alfred Lund Felumb and Alexander Luis Manuel Siegfried
Alfred and Alexander are lab assistants at the TANT-Lab at AAU. The goal of TANT-Lab is to provide a free range test ground for collaboratively working out what digital methods and tools can provide the social sciences and humanities. Their presentation will present the practical process of exploring and analysing networks about electronic music.
After the presentations there will be a 30 minute Q&A session with the presenters.
